Be A Sponsor

For only $35/month you can make a significant difference in the daily living of a desperately poor child.  There are two sponsorship options:

a)   Sponsor an orphan: We have approximately 80 orphans living in our Childrens’ Home.  Some have been dropped off at our Home by a parent who can no longer afford to feed their child and other children have lost both their parents.  Your $35 every month helps us to take care of the daily needs of these children, which includes food, education, clothing, basic health care, clean water, housing and transportation.  The age range of our orphans is from 2 years old through early 20s.  The young adults are typically learning a trade or finishing high school and are transitioning into independence.

b)   Sponsor a classroom: There are 350 students in our school, which includes some of our orphans in our Children’s Home as well as children from the community of Grande Goave.  Your $35/month allows us to purchase school uniforms, feed all of the students a daily nutritious meal (often the only meal these children will get all day), purchase school supplies, and pay salaries to our Haitian teachers and principal.  If you choose to sponsor a classroom you will receive a class photo of the grade of your choice (Preschool 1, 2 or 3, or grades 1-6) in addition to an individual photo of a representative child from that class.  You will receive a letter or card from any one member of the class two times/year.  Any gifts you choose to send will go to the classroom for the teacher to decide which child is most in need.
