The renevations were actually finished a few weeks ago but I’ve been too busy to spend much time on my computer. Here are the before and after pictures…

We were also able to give her a package of food, thanks to generous supporters who purchased “emergency food” through the H2H gift catalogue:

This was such a fun project to work on & there were many highlights…

– Seeing the kids at H2H excited about helping…carrying blocks, cleaning, painting, buying food, etc.

– Seeing the workers (brick layers, roofers) donate their time, despite being needy themselves.

– Seeing the generosity of people back home (YOU!) when given the opportunity to help someone in need. James 1 says; “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” Thank you for your generosity, not only financially, but spiritually too. I’m going to go out on a limb here. Some of you who donated to this project aren’t “Christians”, or you have become stale and have become “Sunday Christians” – what does that mean for you? It means God is using you despite your stubbornness…imagine what He could do through you if you gave your life to Him completely!! I’m not claiming to be an expert (& am far from perfect myself) but if this is tugging at your heart please email me so I can tug the rope a bit harder :)

I’ll get off the limb now & back to Notremene’s house…

When the renovations were completed we had a prayer service at her house to celebrate the completion of the project & encourage those who live around her house to come out to church. It was a tough hike for some but the service was great! Here are some pictures:

Thank you again for your support – may you be blessed as you are a blessing to others!!
